"The Greats"

Notables voices blend in harmony to sing America’s favorite music in lively arrangements of Broadway, jazz and pop tunes that are classic as well as contemporary, singing music by “the greats”: Irving Berlin, George and Ira Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Jerry Herman, Fats Waller, Oscar Hammerstein, and many more. We also perform songs by original artists such as The Beatles, and The Mamas and the Papas, as well as gospel, jazz, holiday favorites, and patriotic songs.

Energetic renditions of tunes from Broadway shows such as 42nd Street, Chicago, Gypsy, and A Chorus Line; jazz favorites such as The Birth of the Blues, It Don’t Mean a Thing, Lullaby of Birdland, and Basin Street Blues; and pop songs such as California Dreamin', and When I’m 64 are just a few samples of Notables' varied repertoire.

Venues

Notables perform year-round, evenings and weekends, for public, corporate, and private venues, primarily in North-Central NJ. We bring our music to hospitals, senior residences, rehabilitation centers, libraries, bookstores, holiday celebrations and more.

Past venues include Bickford Theater of Morris Museum, Veterans Administration of Basking Ridge, Atlantic Medical Center of Morristown, Fellowship Village in Basking Ridge, Fox Hills in Rockaway, Ridge Oak in Basking Ridge, Cedar Crest in Pompton Plains, Arbor Glen, Care One, Long Hill Township Library, and Bernards Township Library.
